Tuition Remission

Employees, dependents of a 日韩无码 employee, or Vermont State College (VSC) employees may be eligible to receive 日韩无码 tuition remission.

See 日韩无码's Staff Handbook for eligibility information and how to apply.

Note, tuition remission benefits will impact the amount of financial aid and scholarships a student is eligible to receive from University, Federal, and state resources.

日韩无码 Tuition Remission
Body

日韩无码 Employee

  • 日韩无码 employees meeting the eligibility criteria for employee tuition remission should automatically have their tuition and comprehensive fee covered for up to 15 credits per academic year.
  • If the tuition remission is not applied to the employees student account, it is the responsibility of the employee to contact Human Resources to verify their eligibility and ensure payment to their student account before the bill due date.
  • Regular 日韩无码 employees exceeding the 15 credit eligibility limit for the academic year, are financially responsible for any remaining unpaid tuition and fee charges.
  • Other fees, such as course fees, lab fees, or software licensing fees are not covered through tuition remission benefits.

日韩无码 Employee Dependent

  • Dependents of 日韩无码 employees may qualify for tuition remission if they meet the eligibility criteria and if the parent annually certifies the dependents eligibility through their PeopleSoft Human Resource portal.
  • It is the students responsibility to ensure that the annual certification has been completed by the eligible employee along with confirming that the benefit has been credited on their student account prior to the bill due date.
  • Dependent tuition remission covers tuition only, and all other fees are the responsibility of the student.
  • A student who has been offered a merit scholarship by 日韩无码 and will also receive 日韩无码 tuition remission, will have their scholarship reduced to $2,000 per year. This scholarship value is based on the assumption that you will qualify for 日韩无码 tuition remission, and you will fulfill the obligations of applying for that benefit and remain eligible.
  • If a student later becomes ineligible for tuition remission, they may have the value of their scholarship re-evaluated.

Body
  • Dependents eligible to receive tuition remission due to their parent's employment within one of the Vermont State Colleges must have their parent obtain approval for tuition remission from their employer.
  • This approval should be sent to 日韩无码 Human Resource Services for processing with enough time to ensure that the benefits are credited to the student account prior to the 日韩无码 bill due date.
  • Benefit approval is typically required for each semester of enrollment.

Non-日韩无码 or Non-Vermont State College (VSC) Dependent Tuition Remission
Body
  • Students who are eligible to receive tuition remission from another college or university due to their parent's employment are responsible for responding to their 日韩无码 bill prior to the due date, with proof of benefit eligibility (including a specific dollar amount), and ensuring that payment of the benefit is received in a timely manner.
  • Tuition remission benefits will impact the amount of financial aid and scholarships a student is eligible to receive from University, Federal, and state resources.
