The
'Integrated Tick Management Program" at the Entomology Research Laboratory
specializes in the "Integrated Pest Management (IPM)' and Biological Control
of arthropod pests. IPM combines several different management strategies to
reduce exposure to pests. This site links educational resources about ticks and their management to
inform users about strategies to protect against
encounters.

Research Projects
Our primary focus is on the development and use of
fungus-based biopesticides. We
also perform research-driven tick
surveillance to examine
their distributon in northern Vermont, USA.
