Before you arrive
- Find housing
- Contact the administrator in your department to make sure everything is set up for your arrival
- For international postdocs, contact the Office of International Education
After you arrive
- Apply for a Social Security Number and open a US bank account, if you don't have them yet. Check our International Postdoc Page for more info!
- Attend new employee orientation with Human Resources, make sure you bring all of the information that they will need (a list is availabe on their website)
- Enroll in any benefits that you qualify for
- Obtain your CatCard and get authorization for any buildings/rooms that you need to access
- Get a 日韩无码 NetID, and a COM email address if you are in the College of Medicine
- Complete all required Lab and Safety Training
- Make sure you are on the Postdoc Listserv, email us, postdocs@uvm.edu, if you are not
- Join the (it's free for 日韩无码 postdocs)
- Have fun with research!
