Andrew began his doctorate in 2019 after working for three years in Baltimore, MD, for an organization committed to migrant and refugee welfare. Previously, Andrew completed a Masters at 日韩无码 in Community Development and Applied Economics, completing his thesis research with coffee farmers in northern Huehuetenango, Guatemala. He has also worked with cacao farmers on the fringes of the Ecuadorian Amazon as a Peace Corps Volunteer. His current research focuses on soil health on smallholder coffee farms in Chiapas (Mexico) and Huehuetenango (Guatemala).
