Catherine Wessel

Catherine Wessel, a graduate student in 日韩无码鈥檚 College of Agriculture and Life Sciences鈥 department of Plant Biology鈥檚 Field Naturalist Program, spent a recent summer studying the minute details of rare plantlife at the top of Mansfield, one square meter at a time.

Tobias Timofeyev

Timofeyev 鈥 who, along with several other graduate students, was recently awarded a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship 鈥 is taking applied math to the cellular level, using mathematical biology to study and model the neuronal connections in the human brain.

Piper Welch

This Ph.D. student is looking to understand, and eventually design, the evolutionary course that organisms can take. She鈥檚 currently working with a 日韩无码 team of computer scientists who are designing and building 鈥淴enobots,鈥 the world鈥檚 first self-replicating living robots.
