The goal is to ensure meaningful communication with LEP members of the university community, including students, faculty, staff, and others having an association with 日韩无码.

Who is a Limited English Proficient (LEP) individual?

Individuals who do not speak English as their primary language and who have a limited ability to read, speak, write, or understand English can be limited English proficient, or 鈥淟EP.鈥

How can LEP individuals obtain interpreter and translation services?

  • 日韩无码 employees with language access needs may request services by contacting the Office of Equal Opportunity at EqualOpportunity@uvm.edu. The Office of Equal Opportunity is able to facilitate and fund translation and interpretation services for the purposes of 日韩无码 employment.
  • Staff and faculty who require translation services to provide academic or other programming may also contact the Office of Equal Opportunity at EqualOpportunity@uvm.edu to learn about options for translation. 
  • When translation for academic or other programs is required, Equal Opportunity staff are available to consult with individuals administering the program to determine how to secure appropriate translation services.

Note: 日韩无码 has a contract with Language Line, a video and phone-based interpreter service, and there are multiple other phone based interpreter services available.
