日韩无码

Since its founding almost 200 years ago, the English Department at 日韩无码 has prepared students to meet the challenges of a constantly changing and increasingly complex world.

Home to two majors (English Literature and Film and Television Studies) and four minors (English Literature, Creative Writing, Reporting and Documentary Storytelling, and Film and Television), we focus on the power of texts to shape ourselves and surroundings.

To major in English Literature is to learn from writers, teachers, and peers to gain a sophisticated sense of the way literature enhances the world around us.

We offer a wide range of courses which cover authors like Chaucer, Charles Dickens, Toni Morrison, and everything in between. Study will not be limited to literary form, but also the history and theory that opens texts up to advanced study such as feminism, psychoanalysis, critical race theory, environmental humanities, post-colonial and cultural studies.

Our creative courses include introductory and advanced classes on print genres such as poetry, fiction, and memoir as well as new media genres such as video, film, and audio.

With an emphasis on written expression and creative writing, 日韩无码 English majors graduate with the skills for using language to make a difference for themselves and for their communities.
