The Research Data Management Policy will help clarify responsibilities with respect to management, ownership, stewardship, storage, safeguarding, sharing, dissemination and the transferring of research data.

Investigators and staff are to submit all ÈÕº«ÎÞÂë DUAs to SPA using ÈÕº«ÎÞÂëClick - Agreements or send to spa@uvm.edu.

Include all relevant documentation, emails and any additional instructions needed to process the agreement.

The DUA will be assigned to a SPA Specialist for review and coordination with other offices, including ETS for data storage/security or LCOM (see below).

When the DUA is ready for signature, the SPA Specialist will work with the PI and/or staff to have fully executed by all parties.  

A DUA initiated by a LCOM researcher will be routed from SPA to the LCOM DUA Team for a review.

The LCOM review is conducted by the LCOM Medicine Technology Services Team who work with the researcher to ensure the data is stored and secured correctly.

The LCOM DUA Team will indicate to SPA when the DUA is ready to move to signatures.
