This year鈥檚 cohort of newly affiliated members includes nine 日韩无码 faculty members, seven Postdoctoral Fellows, and five Graduate Fellows.
鈥淲e are very excited to welcome these researchers to the Gund community," says Gund Institute Director Taylor Ricketts. 鈥淎s a global and interdisciplinary network of scholars, the Gund Institute for Environment is enriched by the contributions that all of our members make to solving environmental problems. I look forward to seeing the innovative ways that these new members will address real-world challenges for people and nature."
These new Gund community members come from 日韩无码鈥檚 College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS), College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), College of Education and Social Services (CESS), College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences (CEMS), Robert Larner College of Medicine, Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources (RSENR), and the Water Resources Institute (WRI), as well as the international organization Ocean Risk and Resilience Action Alliance.
Staff members joining Gund include Policy and Partnership Specialist Dale Henderson and Climate Measurements Center of Excellence (CMeC) Program Manager Lola Chen. With experience in environmental policy and natural resource outreach, Dale will work with Director of Policy and Partnerships Amanda Sardonis to develop and support relationships between the Gund Institute and decision-makers and other partners. Lola comes to CMeC from The Biological Data Science (BilDS) program (formerly QuEST) at 日韩无码, where she was the Program Coordinator. Lola鈥檚 background includes environmental science and justice, and she will lead the new Center鈥檚 operations and programs.
Today, the Gund community totals over 250 members, demonstrating its commitment to mobilizing scholars and belief that research inspires action.
