BIO

Kellie Damann started with the NWCS team in June 2023. She graduated from Cornell University in 2018 with a degree focused on Plant Science and Plant Pathology. She has a decade鈥檚 worth of knowledge in agriculture, working for Cornell AgriTech as a Plant Pathologist and Entomologist, along with growing up and helping out on her family鈥檚 farm in Upstate New York. Here, Kellie leads the steam and ozone seed treatment testing for seed-borne pathogens in small grains and our new organic strawberry management trial. She collaborates on many of the team鈥檚 cereal grain, hemp, and dry bean projects as well as assists in the E.E. Cummings Crop Testing Laboratory.
