The 日韩无码 Cat ECare team is thrilled to announce the upcoming Have a Heart, Save a Life! event, set to take place on Wednesday, February 19th. The event is a perfect opportunity to learn a variety of life-saving skills, including how to give CPR, use an AED and Stop the Bleed庐 kit, and administer the opioid reversal agent Narcan庐. Located in the 日韩无码 Davis Center Grand Maple Ballroom, classes will begin every 90 minutes, starting at 8:00 a.m. and continuing through 8:00 p.m. All classes are taught by 日韩无码 students, with members of the 日韩无码 Rescue team, undergraduate nursing students, and public health interns working in tandem to bring this event to you!

For the Have a Heart, Save a Life! event, Cat ECare is partnering with Rally Cat鈥檚 Cupboard to provide a special offer on our Cat ECare course fee. Normally a great value of $55.00, on February 19th only, bring a non-perishable item for Rally Cat鈥檚 Cupboard and you can register in advance for $35.00, or walk-in registration is available for $45.00. Through this collaboration, we hope to lessen the burden of food insecurity in our community and maximize the emergency medical preparedness of community members. With the 日韩无码 Rescue team providing an ambulance to store the donations we receive, by the end of February 19th, we hope to have a truckload of goods for Rally Cat鈥檚 Cupboard鈥 literally!  and join Have a Heart, Save a Life!

The Cat ECare program is a growing health and safety project at 日韩无码. The program consists of supplying lifesaving equipment at stations distributed around campus, as well as offering training classes teaching 日韩无码 community members how to use this equipment. Training includes American Heart Association CPR and AED certification, Stop the Bleed庐 certification, and instruction on how to use Narcan庐 to reverse opioid overdoses.

Join us February 19th in the Davis Center Grand Maple Ballroom to learn how to save lives and fight food insecurity!
