Nicole Kraft is an associate professor of journalism practice at The Ohio State University, where she teaches news, sports and feature reporting. She is director of Ohio State鈥檚 Sports & Society Initiative. Nicole authored the book 鈥淎lways Get the Name of the Dog: A Guide to Media Interviewing and 鈥淲riting Fabulous Features鈥. She co-edited 鈥淭eaching Media Ethics.鈥 An award-winning sportswriter, she covers the Columbus Blue Jackets for the Associated Press and sports media for Forbes.com. Nicole was honored in 2024 as the Scripps-Howard Teacher of the Year.
