BIO

Bailey is a PhD student in the department of Plant and Soil Science and Food Systems Research Center Graduate Fellow. Her dissertation research focuses on plant-soil-microbe interactions in polycultures of corn, bean, and squash. Specifically, she is interested in understanding how crop roots change when grown in co-culture and how this impacts soil microbial communities, crop productivity, and crop nutritional quality.
