What is your favorite thing about working for the Food Systems Research Center?
It鈥檚 great to be working with so many dedicated researchers and professionals exploring the "who, what, when, where, why, and how" behind our food. It鈥檚 something that ties us all together, and I鈥檓 glad to be part of a community that recognizes that.
What is your favorite thing about living and working in Vermont?
I love Vermont's strong sense of community and the pride people take in stewarding its beautiful landscapes. Plus, no billboards!
What is something about you people would be surprised to learn?
I鈥檓 an avid home cidermaker! Apples are an amazing fruit with far more variety and complexity than many realize.
What TV show, band/artist, podcast, video game, book, and/or anything are you most obsessed with right now?
Currently paging through the outdoor field guide Naturally Curious by Mary Holland. It鈥檚 an amazing (and very photogenic) month-by-month look at what鈥檚 happening outside in the natural world. I highly recommend it to anyone living in the northeast.
