BIO

Raised in Northwestern Vermont, Ben opted for a change of scenery after graduating Bowdoin College in 1999, so he spent the next three years bouncing around Los Angeles working on nationally syndicated television shows. Ready to vacate the big city, Ben returned to Vermont, where he continued to pursue his media passions over the next 25 years. Ben has been a director / technical director for television news, a producer / editor for ad agencies, a newspaper editor and layout technician, a live production producer, and myriad jobs ranging from teleprompter operator to actor to special effects designer.

When not creating media, Ben has a voracious appetite for enjoying it, and often is trying to balance watching new films with listening to new music and reading new books. He is especially fluent in science fiction and horror films from 1922 - 1993. He is also seen outside through all the seasons in Vermont skiing, hiking, cutting wood, making maple syrup, and occasionally relaxing.
